In all average food, most disappointed as me and my husband heard that the pub had returned back to its glory days when Clive was the owner. The pub could do with an overall and provide better means of access for the disabled. The staff are friendly, though the landlady and cook shouldn't be front of house and could do with touching up on their people skills and manners. The food menu is adequate, though the staff / cook wouldn’t accommodate alternative dishes, which I find strange since the food is supposed to be cooked from fresh!
